Baptism in water by immersion is an outward sign of an inward reality. When you become a follower of Jesus, God the Holy Spirit brought you to life. Jesus died for your sins, but was raised so that you may have life in Him.

 

Romans 6:4

 

The word Baptise has been adopted directly for the Greek word ‘baptizo’ and literally means to immerse.

 

If you have repented (said sorry) and turned away from sin (Acts 2:38), and believed in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour (Mark 16:16); you have become a disciple of Jesus (Matthew 28:19-20).  You may now be ready to consider being baptised. When you fill out the application form a member of staff will make an appointment to talk this through with you and see together if you are ready to take this amazing step.
